About My Voice in Zimbabwe

My Voice in Zimbabwe, takes a comprehensive approach to addressing Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights challenges by incorporating policy advocacy, tailor-made health and rights educational courses, and livelihood development and strengthening. We empower youth by promoting sustainable livelihoods through skills training and income-generating opportunities. Simultaneously, My Voice utilizes an innovative education model to provide accurate Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights information. We organization collaborates with Specialist Training Model Advisors who contribute their expertise to the development of evidence-based programs and sustainable solutions.

My Voice engages in policy advocacy to shape legislation and policies that promote Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and address systemic barriers. By combining these approaches, My Voice aims to create lasting change and improve the overall well-being and rights of young people in Zimbabwe regarding SRHR.

NOTE: VOLUNTARY POSITION

The Project Manager will provide technical and programmatic oversight of the program activities of the My Voice in Zimbabwe. He/she being a member of the Senior Management will be work closely with the Executive Director and will regularly attend relevant meetings such as the FTM Expert Training Unit and FTM forums. M

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee, ensure and maintain program quality and timely program implementation,
Establish and track project progress through detailed weekly activity monitoring and reporting,
Participate in senior management committee meetings and provide input for an informed decision-making process by the committee
Participate in program development and grant acquisition to mobilize resources,
Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to build capacity and establish effective project implementation structures,
Responsible for the accurate budgeting and monitoring of project expenditures on a monthly basis,
Identify and monitor risks, and manage and escalate issues,
Represent My Voice in Zimbabwe at Stakeholder/Donor meetings.
Ensure all project sites have sufficient donor visibility according to Funding Partner requirements,
Develop and maintain networks with other NGOs, local governmental departments, agencies, churches, etc.,
Coordinate the development and dissemination of impact and evidence-based program documentation,
Submit reports in a timely manner meeting all reporting requirements,
Manage the coordination of project baselines, interim and final evaluation,
Present regular progress and impact reports at appropriate meetings,
Ensure all key documents are filed in a systematic manner,
Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Experience

Undergraduate degree or Master’s Degree in health-related fields such as Public Health, International Development, Health Promotion, Gender Studies, and Medicine or other related field.
Previous liaison experience with government and partners.
Experience in multi-sectoral development approaches.
