About My Voice in Zimbabwe
My Voice in Zimbabwe, takes a comprehensive approach to addressing Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights challenges by incorporating policy advocacy, tailor-made health and rights educational courses, and livelihood development and strengthening. We empower youth by promoting sustainable livelihoods through skills training and income-generating opportunities. Simultaneously, My Voice utilizes an innovative education model to provide accurate Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights information. We organization collaborates with Specialist Training Model Advisors who contribute their expertise to the development of evidence-based programs and sustainable solutions.
My Voice engages in policy advocacy to shape legislation and policies that promote Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and address systemic barriers. By combining these approaches, My Voice aims to create lasting change and improve the overall well-being and rights of young people in Zimbabwe regarding SRHR.
NOTE: VOLUNTARY POSITION
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all monitoring and evaluation activities within the My Voice in Zimbabwe. The coordinator will work closely with program teams to develop and implement effective M&E frameworks, systems, and tools to ensure the successful implementation and impact of programs. The M&E Coordinator will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights, monitoring program performance, and facilitating evidence-based decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks, methodologies, and systems to assess program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
Collaborate with program teams to develop project-specific M&E plans, including clear objectives, indicators, data collection methods, and reporting mechanisms.
Coordinate and oversee data collection activities, including the development of data collection tools, training of staff, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Conduct data analysis to generate insights and recommendations for program improvement.
Regularly monitor program activities against specified indicators and targets, identifying gaps and challenges.
Plan and conduct evaluations and impact assessments of programs.
Prepare high-quality M&E reports, including progress reports, impact assessments, and lessons learned. Ensure timely submission of reports to relevant stakeholders.
Provide training and guidance to program staff on M&E concepts, tools, and methodologies. Support capacity building efforts to strengthen monitoring and evaluation skills within the organization.
Facilitate the documentation and dissemination of best practices, lessons learned, and success stories. Foster a culture of learning and evidence-based decision-making within the My Voice in Zimbabwe.
Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Demography or any related.
Proven experience (2 years) in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the context of NGOs or international development projects.
Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent data analysis skills using statistical software
