World Vision Zimbabwe invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of WASH Data Facilitator to support our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs.

Purpose of the Position

The WASH Data Facilitator will be responsible for implementing and supporting the use of the mWater mobile application, collecting, aggregating, cleaning, visualizing, interpreting, and analyzing WASH data.

The role aims to inform decision-making within the National Office and demonstrate the impact of WASH programs in communities served.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, store, manage, and maintain data securely and systematically.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with mWater requirements.
• Oversee approval processes for site and survey data at the NO and AP levels, ensuring timely approvals.
• Perform data cleaning, including removing duplicates, linking water points, updating site photos, and handling personally identifiable information (PII).
• Regularly review site, survey, and indicator data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain the NO WASH Hub, ensuring data sets are complete and accurate.
• Generate quarterly and ad-hoc visualizations (reports, maps, dashboards) to support program monitoring.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Collaborate with WASH program teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure data requirements are met and integrated smoothly.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, GIS, Big Data Analytics, or related fields.

• A Master of Science Degree in GIS is an added advantage.
• Proven ability in GIS and spatial data analysis.
• Familiarity with Water or similar mobile survey applications and data visualization tools.
• Quick learner with the ability to support digital data collection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
• Minimum of two years of experience in program monitoring, data collection, or data management, preferably in non-profit or public sectors.
• A clean Class 4 driver’s license is required.
