A local faith based Non-Governmental Organization involved in humanitarian, development and advocacy work seeks to fill the following vacant positions:

Social Work Officer

The main role of the Social Worker is to facilitate the provision of holistic protection services to our clients in need of protection services.

Duties:

• Provide technical guidance during planning and implementation of the protection work
• Conduct the initial assessment of clients and their families, laying a foundation for holistic case management support.
• Lead the processes of family tracing, engagement and reunification for clients.
• Facilitating the process of community reintegration
• Provision of family counselling to the receiving family of the client to ensure that they are prepared for taking the client in.
• Lead the development of Case Management documents such as assessment forms
• Ensure that all cases are entered into the Integrated Case Management system
• Conduct case management follow up support for clients

Desired qualifications and skills:

• A first degree in Social Worker
• Master’ in Social Work is an added advantage
• Registered Social Worker
• Familiar with the Case Management System in Zimbabwe
• Familiar with some protection principles
• At least 3 years of work experience with Case ManagementApplication Requirements and Deadline:

Remuneration: Remuneration and other benefits will be disclosed and negotiated with selected candidates.
