ICT/WEB Specialist

Location- Harare

 Key competencies required                    

• Network Administration and Maintenance
• Hardware and software support;
• Network Administration including end-user account creation and maintenance;
• Server support responsibilities include the installation of new servers as well as upgrading existing servers, and require detailed knowledge of Servers, as well as network electronics (hubs and switches);
• Troubleshooting & resolving network issues-- As network problems and issues arise, identify the problem(s) and resolve them with minimal impact on the users.
• Keep up-to-date with technological advances in hardware and software, by upgrading ICT skills

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science
• Certificate in web development and scripting will be an added advantage
• A solid base in information systems will be an added advantage
• A high understanding of core web development tagging language i.e., html
• A high understanding of web scripting language i.e., php, asp
• Competent with working on dual web servers i.e., IIS and Apache
• Good skills in image processing and using image processing software
• Knowledgeable about file transfer systems and protocols
• A high knowledge using Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS)
