Finance Intern

Financial support to the finance department:

• Preparing payment vouchers
• Supporting adequately all payments.
• Correctly capturing all financial transactions in Pastel Evolution
• Ensuring all payment vouchers are fully authorized.
• Ensuring that all financial transactions are retrievable upon request.
• Assist with financial reporting.
• Help with accounts receivable and payable management.
• Filing all financial reports
• Preparing VAT reports
• Uploading payments to online payment platform
• Banking excess cash and withdrawing cash from the bank.
• Reconciling ledger accounts monthly

Requirements

Functional skills and knowledge: 

• Ability to work under pressure without making errors.
• Good human relations skills
• Good with figures
• Good coordination skills
• Willingness to travel to the districts.

Qualifications and  Skills

• A recent graduate with a Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Meticulous with figures
• Honesty and integrity
• Proficiency in usual desktop software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) a requisite and website management a bonus.
• General appreciation of HR policies and procedures.
